CBS3 anchor in Philidelphia Alycia Lane was arrested early yesterday after allegedly punching a plainclothes female New York City police officer in the face around 2 a.m. in Manhattan.
Lane, 35, was charged with assault. New York Police Sgt. Carlos Nieves said Lane’s attack left the officer bloody and lacerated.
Lane could not be reached for comment, but an attorney representing her said last night that she "never hit or said any derogatory comments to anyone."
"We are confident that after a full investigation of the facts she will be cleared of these charges," said David Smith, a New York lawyer
Not the first time: Back in May the tabloid Page Six revealed that she had sent e-mails containing private photos of herself to NFL Network anchor Rich Eisen that were discovered by his wife, ABC Sports reporter Suzy Shuster….Believe me I looked for those bikini pic, but they haven’t been released. “Boy, do you look amazing in a bikini . . . congrats! Whatever you’re doing, (Pilates? yoga?) keep doing it – it’s working for you. Anyway, sorry but those seven e-mails you sent to my husband, Rich, well, oops, they came to the e-mail address we both use from time to time, but no worries, I’ll forward the beach shots as well as the ones of you dancing with your friends on to his main address. Do you have it?”
