Pamela Anderson joins PETA and Garden Protein in serving a vegetarian turkey dinner with all the trimmings to the homeless in Las Vegas.
The Beauty of Magic star is hosting the dinner to highlight both the health benefits of a meatless diet and cruelty to animals in the turkey trade. Anderson–who has been vegetarian since she was a teenager–will be dishing out Gardein’s Veggie Stuffed Turkey Roast With Wild Rice and Cranberries, which was donated by Garden Protein. This delicious faux turkey, available at Whole Foods stores across the country, is a savory blend of soy, wheat, peas, beets, and carrots, prepared to have the taste and texture of roast turkey–but without any animal ingredients.
